These are a series of ovens to use as your design inspiration. Things to focus on in each photo:
Oven shape. Some are squared off, some reflect the dome or the barrel vault of the oven within.
Chimney. In some, the chimney is boxed in with the oven, and in some the chimney is distinct. Some chimneys are left as steel pipe, or some are veneered with stone, brick, or stucco.
Roof. Any oven built on the east coast needs a roof. Those without roofs shown here are built in CA. The roof can be built into the oven, or built separately. It can cover the baker or just the oven.
Counters and oven context. Look at how counters are built into the oven structure and how they surround the oven structures.
Materials. Of course, see what materials speak to you.
Storage. Think about whether you want to use the under-the-oven space to store wood, or whether you'll have other storage solutions.
