We bring fire and food to our communities and link ourselves to traditions that are thousands of years old. A synagogue makes matzah in a clay oven; a church bakes bread for the Eucharist; an Armenian woman make her lavash.
At Backyard Bread, we don't obsess about making the perfect loaf. Instead, we says it’s a success when we are laughing over steaming bread, when a ten year old pulls a pizza from the clay oven and runs a slice to their teacher, when a friend tells us about the bread he would eat in his home country as we knead together.
